It’s always an exciting (and somewhat nerve wrecking time in our breeding program) when one of our beautiful girls is pregnant with a litter but it’s also a very important time for Dogs for Kids. It’s the time where we start building the next generation of Assistance and Therapy dogs.
Our gorgeous Gypsy delivered seven healthy and happy puppies (2 girls, 5 boys) that have now been settled with their individual puppy raising families where they’ll live, be socialised and definitely be loved for the coming months until they are deemed ready to enter the training program. They are already developing their own personalities.
We’re also very happy to announce that Hattie, a smart and sassy girl, is due to deliver the next generation of Assistance and Therapy dogs next month. Special thanks to our volunteers for all they do to support the puppy program.
