We had such a fantastic day at the 2021 Rotary Frankston Sunrise, Charity Golf Day thanks to all the friendly faces, donations and puppy cuddles given to our dogs in training.
After having been cancelled last year due to Covid, it was extra special to be out in the sunshine at the spectacular Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club supporting the amazing Rotary volunteers as they worked so hard to create an incredible event and raise much needed community funds. The golfers were fantastic and great sports as we ‘judged’ the worst shot off our tee to nominate our winner for the “Dogs for Kids Barking up the Wrong Tree” inaugural trophy which was won (with good grace) by Josh from the Frankston Football Club who (ironically) managed to somehow drive his shot literally into a nearby tree! The obvious winner in our opinion!
We’d like to high five our friends at Rotary Frankston Sunrise for feeding us delicious barbecue egg and bacon rolls throughout the day and to our Pawsome Pro Golfer Cat Odgers who showed some of the lads how to place their golf ball on the green (you go girl)!
It was a fantastic day and we loved being invited to participate and feel very honoured to have been given the opportunity. What a wonderful community to be a part of.
