The easiest way to measure for a dog collar is by measuring the one they are currently wearing. If your dog doesn’t already have a collar, you can measure around their neck.

Flat side release collar

Measure from the end of the female portion of the buckle to the point at which the male end of the buckle meets the female end. Do not include the prongs at the end.

Belt buckle collar

Measure from the center of the buckle to the hole that comfortably fits your dog currently.

No collar?

Use a soft tape measurer and gently measure around their neck, and add 1-2 inches for extra adjustable comfort.
